An inorganic salt (Aluminium Potassium Sulfate) soluble in water, used in small percentages in various formulations of “colletta” (or glue paste) for the lining of paintings; Kalinite has an excellent thickening and plasticizing power and besides it acts as a preservative inside the “colletta”.
