PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
A surface consolidant product based on nanophasic calcium hydroxide dispersed in isopropyl alcohol. As it is based on the transformation of hydroxide in calcium carbonate through the action of atmospheric carbon dioxide, Nanorestore is the consolidant product compatible above all others for frescoes and stone materials with carbonate matrix. Nanorestore is an Italian Patent Consorzio CSGI-Università degli Studi of Florence.
Nanorestore can be applied to wall paintings, plasters, marble and other stone materials with carbonate matrix.
Properties-characteristics:
- excellent water vapour permeability
- absence of chromatic alterations or glossy effects
- maintenance of hydrophily and absence of superficial hydrophobic films
PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
- Appearance: opalescent white liquid
- Active material content: 0.5%
- Density: ca. 0.8 kg/l at 20°C
- Viscosity: 2.75 cP at 25°C
