PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Concentrate dispersion of functionalized silica nanoparticles, able to give a high water-repellent protective effect to materials such as natural rocks, bricks, cements and concrete, lime plasters. The nanoparticles are able to penetrate inside of the material porosity, and to create strong bonds with hydroxide groups there. The water repellent chains bound to the nanoparticles face outwards of the pore, and block the entry of liquid water. This effect occurs without the formation of surface films, therefore with a minimum reduction of permeability.
