PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Menthol is a monoterpenic alcohol extracted from mint essential oils. It is L-menthol, differing from DL-menthol of synthetic origin, and not suitable for restoration.

- Appearance: colorless acicular crystals of waxy consistency
- Melting point: 41-44°C
- Boiling point: 212°C
- Specific weight: 0.89 kg/dm3
- Solubility: practically insoluble in water and in glycerol, very soluble in alcohols (ethyl and isopropyl) and in hydrocarbons (cyclohexane, ligroin, petroleum essence).
