Laponite RD is a colloidal clay composed of a mixture of sodium, magnesium and lithium silicates, in powder. When dispersed in demineralized water, it swells to produce a thixotropic, heat stable, clear gel, suitable for the cleaning of paper, parchment, textiles and other supports.
