HONEYCOMB PANELS Series HPA1 – HPA2

The HPA Series panels are composed of:

- internal aluminum honeycomb core structure, with 6.35 mm cells (HPA1) or 9.52 mm cells (HPA2);

- external facings (SKINS), made of a bidirectional fiberglass fabric of 500 g/m² – thickness 0.5 mm, impregnated with an epoxy adhesive;

- striped polyester protective film, TO BE REMOVED (Peel Ply) before use of the panel. The Peel Ply is a film applied to the fabric impregnated with epoxy resin in order to homogenize the amount of resin on the surface and to avoid the formation of air bubbles. Once the film is removed, the surface will not require sanding and will be ready for the next processing cycle. It is also called release fabric.
