OPERATION

Flying insects are attracted by the UV-free light source and become trapped on the adhesive surface. This non-destructive capture method allows for easy and accurate identification and quantification of insects, enabling professional and efficient monitoring.



Insectron® insect traps stand out for their high effectiveness and extreme ease of use. Silent, odorless and free of chemicals, they represent an economical and sustainable solution for Integrated Pest Management (IPM).

MAINTENANCE

Adhesive panels should be replaced every 2–3 months. Prolonged use significantly reduces adhesive capacity.



Lamps must be replaced if faulty or when light attractiveness decreases:



- After approx. 2,000 hours of continuous use (˜ 3 months): efficiency reduced by approx. 7%

- After approx. 4,000 hours (˜ 6 months): efficiency reduced by approx. 15%

- After approx. 6,000 hours (˜ 9 months): efficiency reduced by up to 30%



Lamp replacement is recommended after 6,000 hours in any case.
