NANO SILO CORAVE

NANO SILO CORAVE is a water-based hydrophobic and preservative compound containing nanosilica functionalized with siloxane groups and microencapsulated terbutryn, used for the combined protection against driving rain and microbiological attack on surfaces such as stone materials, mortars and plasters, frescoes, and bricks.



This water-repellent product containing biocidal microcapsules is the result of the Co.R.A.Ve. research project – Conservation of Archaeological Ruins in Vegetal Contexts, carried out with the Department of Architecture and Design at the Polytechnic University of Turin, in collaboration with the Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts, and Landscape for the Province of Viterbo and Southern Etruria, and the Archaeological Park of Cerveteri and Tarquinia.
