PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Silical 110 is a silicone rubber suitable for all vertical or large-scale molding techniques, where workability (long working time) and mechanical properties (tear and tensile strength, low shrinkage) are required.

Thixotropic and moldable, Silical 110 is recommended for making vertical molds of any object or work of art that the restorer needs to reproduce.



CHEMICAL AND PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

-Catalyst: Silical 115 Silical 116 Fast

-Mixing ratio by weight: 3–4% Mixing ratio by weight: 2%

-Appearance: non-dripping neutral paste

-Appearance of vulcanized product: yellowish paste light red paste

-Working time (at 23°C): approx. 90 min approx. 1–2 min

-Demolding time (at 23°C): 18–22 hours 6–8 min

-Linear shrinkage (after 5 days at 23°C): max 0.7% max 0.2%

-Specific weight: 1.42 kg/l

-Hardness (after 8 min at 23°C): 10 ± 2 Shore A

-Hardness (after 60 min at 23°C): 19 ± 3 Shore A

-Hardness (after 24 h at 23°C): 19 ± 3 Shore A

-Hardness (after 48 h at 23°C): 21 ± 3 Shore A

-Tensile strength: 2.8 ± 0.3 N/mm² 1.47 ± 0.3 N/mm²

-Elongation at break: 250 ± 30% 200 ± 10%

-Tear strength: 6.8 ± 0.8 N/mm 3.8 ± 0.1 N/mm

This is a two-component product. Make sure to order, in addition to SILICAL 110, its hardener SILICAL 115 or 116.
