BALSITE W - STUC EPOXY PR BOIS

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Balsite is a two-component epoxy-based putty, purposely formulated for patching and reconstructing wood artifacts of historical-artistic interest. Its good adhesion power, together with the absence of shrinkage and a relative elasticity, makes it the ideal product for bonding fragile objects. In fact, thanks to its particular formulation, Balsite has a low mechanical resistance and can be removed very easily by means of gouges, scalpels, micromotors.
Balsite can be easily moulded so to rebuild missing sections; furthermore, it can be carved without difficulty even after the material has hardened. Its lightness avoids overloading the structures where it is applied.

PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:

- Hardener: Balsite K weight ratio 1:1
- Appearance: pink-brown paste
- Working time: 45-50 min. a 20°C
