CTS Synthetic Saliva (SSC) is an aqueous solution of a protein, mucin, and the chelating agents sodium and triammonium citrate that reproduces the detergent and emulsifying characteristics of the natural saliva.
It can be used for light cleanings, for removing dusts or enzymatic gels.
SSC is composed of two components (the lyophilized mucin and the citrate solution) which have to be mixed before using.
PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES:
- Appearance: Mucin: white powder
- Citrate solution: transparent liquid
- pH: 7.0
THE KIT IS COMPOSED OF:
- 1000 ml of chelating agent aqueous solution
- 2 g of lyophilized mucin
