MICRONIZED CALCIUM CARBONATE
An extra fine marble powder obtained from the crushing of natural calcareous rocks. According to its origin, granulometry and colour, calcium carbonate is known with various names, that is: St Joan’s White, Meudon White, Spanish White and “Biancone”. Micronized Calcium Carbonate, for its extra-fine and selected granulometry, is used as an inert in the preparation of fillers for painted surfaces (paintings, panels, frescoes) and stone materials; it has also been widely used as a pigment in wall paints.
